I've been here awhile and can read the effort that goes into creating these games. I don't even think I could handle being a Dungeon Master, seems like a lot of work to track everything from player actions to if they are following the game rules. I can understand JB's frustration about this and its funny because there seems to be a filter here for the kind of personality that is needed to participate here. In the games I've been in the Dungeon Masters have not let me down or abandoned anything but given their length of time on this site I can see why.
Part of the enjoyment of any game is knowing the game's master is dependable. Just that alone is a big factor no matter how the game itself goes because you always want to feel that you can count on someone who is as serious as you about role-playing.
