He was hung from a ceiling fan upside down for a long period of time? What kind of sick teacher is this? I hope they punish him and punish him harshly. Maybe stone him to death. I know that hurts.

That is awful! My daughter is only 7 and I can hardly think anyone could do such a thing. I know their religion is important to them but that is extreme--for not memorizing scriptures? What if he had some kind of learning disability--do they have the means to check for that?

After reading the article, all I can say is, UNBELIEVABLE!

I am with KNtoran--I hope they are very strict with this and he has severe consequences for his actions.
