A strong earthquake measuring 6.1 hits southern Iceland, 50km (30 miles) from the capital, Reykjavik.

I heard about this while watching CNN last night. From the report I heard noone was killed and just a few people were injured. They did not have the number of damaged building yet.

I am glad this was not anywhere near the one in China. Hopefully whatever devastation it did cause people will be thankful they have their families.
