Nice to meet you! Or "Nice to meet me"?
I've been into Role-playing Game (Tabletop) games since I was 9, I think. I own my first whole dice-set since I bought it when I was 11, but me and my friends never followed any rules. Despite using Dungeons & Dragons3.5 character sheets, we pretty much made up everything, absolutely everything: the adventures and the rules themselves.
It wasn't until after high school that I began playing Dungeons & Dragons legitimately. And when Dungeons & Dragons NEXT launched its September and October playtest materials in 2013, my friends and I have since been playing 5e campaigns; pre-made, custom, anything.
In my Rise of Tiamat + Hoard of the Dragon Queen Campaign, I began to write short stories about the events that were memorable, and able to be transcribed effectively. Actually, about half of my short stories are events happening someplace else, that the players never get to see, but add a meta-level intrigue. My players love it, and I enjoy writing them.
