Mormon Bishop Attacked

A Bishop named David Charmbury out of Birmingham, England was attacked after he was trying to stop thieves from taking his sports car. He's in a coma now. My question is, should he have just let them go with it - it was just a car and now he has very serious head injuries. Prayers go to his family.

Attacked Bishop Mormon

I'm not Mormon but I did want to mention that when someone goes out to steal they already have the mindset that they will retaliate if confronted so its best to just call the police and take a pic if you can.

Normally no material object is worth our life, the exception is if we sacrifice ourselves to save our family and others, but then they are not material inanimate objects.

I always think of this at times like this, only hope I think of it, if it ever happens to me. But it does happen all of the time, in little ways, as we travel through life.

international QUOTE
Matthew 5:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.

41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
