Firefox & Flash Crashing

If you have troubles with Adobe Flash crashing within Firefox then please try in your Firefox browser to:

1. Type "About:config" Where you normally put the URL, pass the warning message
2. In the top field put "Dom.ipc.plugins" And then look for:

Dom.ipc.plugins.enabled; and set it to false

Also:

Dom.ipc.plugins.flash.disable-protected-mode; set it to true

Updated: Of recent I've found that I also need to:

Dom.ipc.plugins.flash.subprocess.crashreporter.enabled; set to: false

Crashing Flash and Firefox

I once had a similar problem and just completely uninstalled my old Firefox browser and replaced it with a new install. Then downloaded a fresh copy of flash and it worked again. Sure wished I had something like this back then.
