Out of Character: Just to keep this square in my head...
Is it down to 1 gob plus the boss hobgoblin... And they're both in our general vicinity? Are there others (As far as Skreed knows)?
Seeing the Hobgoblin knocked prone, Skreed hurls himself at it, attempting to hammer both daggers into its chest (Dungeon Master can add rolls for advantage if it is still prone by the time I get there and act)
.
Alexi lets out a grunt of disappointment and irritation as his attack sails past the hobgoblin but he follows it up with a backswing that finds its mark. Seeing Mel fall, Alexi focuses his attention back on the leader moving to strike while the boss is down if possible, if the hobgoblin is starting to get back on his feet as Alexi approaches he swings his sword at the neck trying to remove his head from his shoulders.
Aerendyl stumbles a little, dazed from the many blows that returned him from lion form. He points a hand towards the writhing hobgoblin and a burst of noxious gas flows from his palm.
Out of Character: A constitution saving throw versus DC 13 negates damage. Dungeon Master, if it looks like Screed has the hobgoblin in hand he will cast poison spray at one of the goblins instead.
As you stumble Aerendyl the hobgoblin's pommel flies past you, the last words you hear are: "Bad kitty! Stay still!" as the hilt of his great sword slams into your face, knocking you down([Critical Hit], and he did get up again)
"Two left!" he cries, "Keep at it!"
You blade, Alexi, bites deep into this foe. This foe that has managed to remove so many of your party members from the fight, you put your rage and fury behind it, but it isn't enough...yet.
The remining (3) goblins split up and continue their attacks. One each manages to strike Alexi and Skreed with the last missing you entierly Alexi.
Lashing out at the leader skreed you hit adding another wound to the blood streaked monster (The hobgoblin) but it isn't enough... He responds and lays you low.... Another unconscious body on the ground.
With the last of your strength Alexi you manage to bring your enemy low with one last swing, As you wearily raise your sword to meet the attacks from the remaining goblins...the attacks do not come. Looking up you see them slowly backing away. Terror in their eyes, they back until almost round a corner then turn tail and run. (Towards the outside)
Out of Character:
Nice job guys, if it wasn't obvious I wasn't intending you to win this one, but the rolls told me otherwise. Just as a quick note, the intimidation never really had an effect due to the leadership of the Hobgoblin Captain. But when he went down the goblins were suitably intimidated, so your intimidates there were still worth it.
Health levels
Gradard: Down, 4 hours till returning to consciousness and hp1.
Brennic: Down, 2 hours till hp1
Aerendyl: Down, 1 hour till hp1
Skreed: Down, 3 hours till hp1
Alexi: 12/21.
If it makes any difference Id like to invoke/use my Stone's endurance racial feature. (See below)
If nothing else (If that is enough to keep me upright) I should be able to carry at least two of our unconscious comrades to a safer place to rest.
As a reaction I can reduce damage by 1d12+con mod (3) once between rests.

Out of Character:
Skreed, your stones endurance roll is barely enough. Applying it on the last attack against you leaves you at 1 HP. (It did 17, take off 4 leaves 13, thus you take 6 due to rage, you had 7 health at the time). Nice
In Character:
Instead of staying down Skreed, your mind refuses to shut down. Rearing back upright for another swing, you find Alexi watching the retreating backs of the last three goblins, while standing over the corpse of the one who almost removed you from combat.

Skreeds furtive movement causes Alexi to spin around, sword and shield at the ready, but he quickly identifies Skreed and lowers his sword. Looking around at the scene he nods and gives Skreed a slight grin "Now that was a heck of a fight" he says "Keep an eye out, those goblins may have run but they may return with more. We need to get our comrades to safety and assess the situation."
Sheathing his sword, Alexi kneels down to check for injuries on his comrades. He grunts again, this time in discomfort as he begins to feel his wounds, the adrenaline of combat fading from his veins. He pulls out his water skin, takes a swig.
