RECAP:
QUOTE |
I am a deceased European male who died before 1800. I was married and have been to America sometime during my life. I have something theatrically named after me. |
So you had a generous disposition but were not a philanthropist. You were married, visited America and died before 1800. You are European. You have something named after you that is somehow theatrically connected. Oh, and you are male.
So...
12. Is the "something" named after you tangible?
13. Were you an actor?
14. Did you die after 1700?

I am going to have to think on this one awhile. Perhaps the guys have some thoughts? We're looking for a European guy who died in the 1700's, who visited America at least once. So we're talking Revolutionary War era or before. But he is not an actor or a military figure. He was married and "something" was "theatrically" named after him (whatever THAT means )
Oh Ok, Let me see .. maybe I am making this too difficult, I mean .. really, there was what? maybe a billion people on the planet during the time frame we are talking about. Since I am sort of new to posting, maybe I am making this a little too difficult and I need to give a few hints. I know that AlaskanLDS will say it is cheating - BUT - Lets recap -

"QUOTE: I am known for my disposition to be generous."
1. Are you male? yes
2. Are you still alive? No
3. What year where you born? AlaskanLDS says "wouldnt you like to know - Quit Cheating!" - the answer is 1689, but I won't tell you the month.
4. So, are you a philanthropist? No
ie -altruistic concern for human welfare and advancement, usually manifested by donations of money, property, or work to needy persons, by endowment of institutions of learning and hospitals, and by generosity to other socially useful purposes.
5. Are you American? No
6. Is there anything named after you? No and Yes -
yes -- theatricaly, AlaskanLDS says this was cheating also, but I thought you should know *smile* This is NOT an important point to the persons life - or is it? Sometimes people must die before things are named after them - then again sometimes things are named after them while they are still alive. You are making way too much out of this question - or are you? *evil grin*

This is a time of high adventure and life was not easy anywhere. People had few safteys in life.
