Krusten looks at Candy as the guy look at them. She whispers without making it too obvious.
"Don't tell me this one is going to be like the others, do you see how he has his feet up on the seat like that - who does he think he is... The bus' owner?"
Candy rolls her eyes and without looking directly at Krusten says, "Tell me about it, this night has gone from weird, to weirder to endangerment of women like us." She laughs and shifts in her seat trying to get comfortable in an uncomfortable bus seat.
Malcolm sits and listens to the small micro environment on the bus. He identifies the lady who just got done shopping at the local pharmacy for the cold that is getting worse. He notes where the nervous business man sits, tightly clutching his briefcase and nervously bouncing his feet, waiting for the bus to get moving. The bus driver seems to be fidgeting with the clock in his enclosed safety cab. Double checking to make sure that he cannot leave yet, as he wants to complete this part of his shift as quickly as possible.
Taking a breath, Malcolm identifies a man, other than the drunk who has not bathed in a few days, and Malcolm is grateful that he is upwind of the man. Thinking about the smelly one, he feels bad for those towards the back of the bus, as this guy reeks.
His focus is distracted as he realizes that the lady, who got on after him, just laughed. It was pleasant and caused him to smile a little. He was glad someone was able to find some pleasure at this moment.
Now comfortable as can be she starts to look around the bus. She says soft enough for Krusten to hear, "Oh my gosh, what kind of bus have we boarded?" She nudges Krusten with her elbow. She has her hands down by her lap where no one can see them. She points with her right index finger in the direction of the hooker and adds, "Someone is looking for action but she might not get much... She needs a makeup artist." Candy shakes her head slightly so she isn't too obvious.
Feeling Candy's elbow she looks at her hands and the direction she is pointing. With a smile and a shy face she pats Candy's leg quickly and says, "You're bad!" Then giggles.
"I thought you would be worried about that shady guy over there." She uses Candy's method to point towards the gang member.
"You think I'm bad and there is that guy over there, he looks like he might want to hold us up or even take us out."
