Middle-aged adults with hearing loss have substantially higher health care costs
The costs of health care have been compared for a matched group of privately insured individuals with and without a diagnosis of hearing loss. Study results indicate that those with hearing loss have much higher health care costs overall. Ref. Source 4e.
