Older brothers may contribute to homosexuality in siblings

Since homosexuality is always a hot debate topic, I thought I would post a quote regarding a controversial study completed recently.

[quote]
A Canadian researcher has found that boys with a statistical average of 2.5 older brothers are twice as likely to be gay as boys with no older brother, while a boy with four older brothers is three times as likely to be gay.

The study, published in a specialist journal, Archives of Sexual Behavior, was led by Ray Blanchard, a psychologist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, Canada.

This study would seem to indicate that environment does play a MUCH larger role in sexual preference than many had thought. It also calls into question the 'genetic' argument that gets bandied about. Which i find very ridicules  to believe. My dad's family had 7 boys and not one of them are gay. I find this entire study laughable. I'm not saying the theory is, but the way this study was conducted is absolutely ridicules.

lol i just realized i have 6 uncles  :smile.gif

LOL. That's the most ridiculous theory I have heard. Some scientists don't know what they're doing in my point of view.

That is the biggest load of doggie poo I ever heard. Sometimes I have to shake my head about why I want to get into psychology, but hopefully it will set the record straight on wacky advice.

What?! This is the craziest and stupidest sort of research I've ever heard. The idea that how many brothers you have somehow effects you being gay. Easily some of the worse non-sense I've read in a while.
