One on One Explanation

If you want to know if you are in placement or turn use the log... for instance KN thought that I made an attack on the first round, but the log clearly shows I did not. Watch as I outline it here.

I place my troops:

QUOTE
GameMaster placed 2 armies in Northern Europe
GameMaster placed 2 armies in Western US
GameMaster placed 3 armies in Brazil
GameMaster placed 3 armies in Venezuela
GameMaster placed 3 armies in Central America
GameMaster placed 3 armies in Southern Europe
GameMaster placed 3 armies in Northern Europe
GameMaster placed 3 armies in Ukraine
GameMaster placed 4 armies in Oikiotoluk
GameMaster placed 4 armies in China
GameMaster placed 4 armies in India
GameMaster placed 3 armies in Kamchatka
GameMaster placed 3 armies in Alaska

Then Klar places his troops:
QUOTE
Klar placed 3 armies in NW Territory
Klar placed 2 armies in Afghanistan
Klar placed 2 armies in Eastern US
Klar placed 2 armies in Siam
Klar placed 5 armies in North Africa
Klar placed 2 armies in Alberta
Klar placed 2 armies in Quebec
Klar placed 2 armies in Greenland
Klar placed 4 armies in Middle East
Klar placed 2 armies in Scandinavia
Klar placed 2 armies in Great Britain
Klar placed 2 armies in Western Europe
Klar placed 5 armies in Eastern Australia
Klar placed 5 armies in East Africa

This makes end of PLACEMENT and NOT turn otherwise at the end you would see "end turn".

Now we go into the FIRST ROUND where no attacks are made:

QUOTE
GameMaster ended the turn.
GameMaster placed 1 armies in Central America
GameMaster placed 4 armies in Oikiotoluk
GameMaster placed 2 armies in Ontario
GameMaster placed 2 armies in Brazil

Notice above that it said "end turn" that is the end of my first round without attacks. If I attacked it would say that I conquered some place.

Now it is KN's turn:

QUOTE
Klar ended the turn.
Klar placed 1 armies in Siam
Klar placed 2 armies in Western Europe
Klar placed 2 armies in Great Britain
Klar placed 2 armies in Afghanistan

You see the FIRST ROUND is now over and nobody attacked. Now game play begins as normal:

QUOTE
GameMaster ended the turn.
GameMaster conquered Afghanistan
GameMaster conquered Mongolia
GameMaster conquered Irkutsk
GameMaster conquered Alberta
GameMaster conquered NW Territory
GameMaster placed 1 armies in Ontario
GameMaster placed 3 armies in Alaska
GameMaster placed 2 armies in Oikiotoluk
GameMaster placed 3 armies in Kamchatka

I hope this helps explain the One on One rule system.

Explanation One One

Improvement to the One on One Rule

There is a lot of confusion about this One on One system, today even I got caught off guard, however this will happen NO MORE because I added an new script line to the RISK game log. When the player has placed his initial 40 Armies then a message in BLUE will show.

Then when the player has ended a turn it will show this in RED.

What does this mean...

Instead of counting armies played to know if it is the first or second round you will only have to look to see if EACH player has gotten ONE BLUE line and ONE RED line. If each player has a line of each color then you can now attack!

If you attack BEFORE each player has a BLUE and RED line then you know you are in the wrong and should concede.

Thank you for doing that. I think that will make it much more clear so we do not get confused again.

Yes, I hate having to check and check over it too, so this should be an easy solution, at least I hope so, BUT if anyone still does not get it, PLEASE do reply here because I want to ensure it WORKS and is EASY to understand.

Rather off topic, but...
You are on late! Well, late for you.
