Njall thinks back, trying to remember any stories he heard among the Belters back in Bowman about Vacc Bugs. Belters from all over in that rush, and the tales told in Belt bars are tall as only Zero-G breeds. But maybe there was something…
"I am not able to reference anything guys without a complete autopsy I will not be able to give you any answers. I am sure we do not want to expose ourselves to this issues if we can help it. Lets strip what we can make sure it is free of bugs and get out of here."
Njall continues to dismantle the sensor array on the Elena, opting to take only the essential parts that he needs to restore the sensors on the Wildcard to more normal functioning. What takes up the most time is gathering the wiring needed while at the same time inspecting them thoroughly for any bugs. Njall gathers the parts and places them in the crew commons for another crew member to inspect and then take them aboard the Wildcard. The crew works diligently for the remainder of the ‘day’ and well into the ‘night’ scavenging what they can.

The sensor array of the Elena has been scavenged and the appropriate spare parts inspected for bugs then taken aboard the Wildcard. The away team returns to the ship and Doc begins his examination of the crew to determine if they have been infected or exposed to any pathogens which means that he runs blood tests and other scans. How thorough is Shuth going to be with his tests/how intrusive? Either way please roll a single medical skill check (No need to roll once for each crew member).
Ajit feels pleased to get through his task of dismantling the sensor equipment for the Wildcard. After thoroughly inspecting everything for bugs, he returns to the Wildcard and presents himself to Shuth for medical examination. He thinks to himself that the best plan may be to just destroy the ship and ensure that it doesn't spread the infection.
It takes Shuth several hours to complete full medical examinations on the away team members and includes a significant amount of blood work. He finds no signs of toxins, infections, or any other contaminates although all seem to have somewhat irregular brain wave activity, he is going to need to spend some time studying the data in order to get a better picture of what is irregular and what may be causing it.
The parts for the sensor array are now aboard the Wildcard but again without the tools available at a star port, overhauling the sensor system is likely to take quite a while and there will probably be significant amounts of time when the sensors will be offline completely. What is the decision of the crew on the disposition of the Elena and her crew?
"Nudge it into the nearest star to wipe out all traces of the bugs and other possible ailments. That way we can be assured that this illness does not spread. Rest assured I will be monitoring you guys to make sure that you did not somehow get contaminated."
