Regarding destination, Uakye seems best. High TL, good shipyard. Slightly more relaxed than the rich, bustling Allel next door, which is a tourist-trap. Uakye is TL 14, Allel 10.
The situation continues to deteriorate while the crew waits for the Wildcard to complete its jump to Ukaye. Bug sightings become a regular occurrence for Ajit and have found their way into his state room as well often interrupting his sleep as he feels them crawling on his skin. Meanwhile as he continues to monitor the sensors, occasionally swiping away a bug that crawls across the console, Ajit notes a possible anomaly but will need to make a sensor check to pinpoint it and gather more information. Gaden begins to experience strange sensations when in his stateroom, he thinks someone is watching him. At one point he hears a soft voice whisper his name. This happens again a day later only this time he recognizes the voice as belonging to his wife "It's cold here" she whispers as he lies in bed "Why did you leave? You left me so cold"
Krakrefr and Njall seem to be largely unaffected with the exception of Krakrefr having frequent and intense nightmares often involving his teeth falling out or being forcibly removed by some strange creature which leaves him a laughing stock among Vargr, shamed and exiled. Njall's mind is somewhat clouded and he finds that he is becoming more forgetful and has difficulty concentrating but nothing more severe at this point.
Silver's headache begins to intensify and by the end of the third day in Jump Space it feels like a dagger is piercing his brain, a pain that rarely subsides making sleep nearly impossible for him to sleep or even perform routine functions (All checks will have a -2DM).
Shuth conducts whatever research he is able on psionics and while he cannot piece together a psionic shield he does begin to research a serum that may help alleviate some of the symptoms at least in the short term to buy the crew some time. Shuth can make Life Science roll to see how long it takes him to research this and then make a medic check to actually craft the 'vaccine' in the meantime he continues to smell something burning at times this becomes so intense that he nearly retches.
Swiping away more bugs, Ajit notices something on the sensors and tries to to pinpoint what is going on. The bugs were getting really bad, but the others don't seem to see them. Ajit is convinced he is the only sane one and his intellect is helping him avoid psionic phantasms and he can see the bugs causing their problems, but the others are affected by whatever these bugs are doing and they can't see them. He has pointed them out many times to the crew, but is always told that there is nothing there. Ajit can never quite seem to catch or squash one either, but he tries not to let it bother him too much. They were on their way to get help.
Out of Character: I am using his sensors skill at +2 and his intellect at +2 to give him a +4 Dungeon Master.
Njall tries to keep out of the way of the more affected areas, concentrating on keeping the ships systems functioning. Puzzling over the contamination vector.... What did we bring back with us? Decontamination should have cleaned off dust and organisms, so perhaps it's radiation in the sensor array parts…
Remembering the events on the Elena Njall quietly, without telling the rest of the crew, disconnects the controls that could be used to vent fuel or air, using the drones so that he won't know the exact locations of the breaks. He also alters the access code for the airlock, writing the new one in the EVA locker logbook.
Returning to his room he starts writing down the details of the encounter with the Elena, what they found about events aboard her and the subsequent course of events on the Wildcard. If everything goes wrong, the more clues there are left the better for the next crew.

In Character: At first Gaden attempts to ignore the voice, knowing that it couldn't be real. But the more he hears it, the more doubt creeps into his mind. Could she really be talking to him? He becomes increasingly withdrawn from the group, mostly staying in his quarters, taking his meals there. One night before going to sleep he hesitates. Kneeling at the foot of his bunk, he unfolds the picture of his wife and places it on his bunk. Hands grasped together as if in supplication, for the first time he finally whispers back, "My love, are you really there?"
Silver has been in his room most of the trip. He tries and stay in his bunk when the headaches are around, even asking that he be strapped into his bunk to avoid injury to himself and others.
His sword and body pistol, he has stored in his locker where they are out of reach. When he can manage the pain he eats with the rest of the crew but lately the pain is way intense.
