In Character: As refiner whirls into action, Gaden switches on the comms with the deck. "This coffee doesn't seem to be working. I'm marching dead on my feet. Calling it. Wake me if we are getting shot full of holes." Back in his quarters he removes his boots and secures all his equipment. Before falling into bed he removes a set of dog tags and a heavily folded picture of a young women from his breast pocket. "I always told you I'd show you the stars Doll," he whispers quietly. Placing the picture at the rooms only viewport, Gaden finally crawls into bed, asleep moments after his head hits the sheets.
In Character: : After plotting the course for jump, Maiokus gets up and checks on the fuel refining process to make sure it's running properly. Afterwards he takes a walk around the ship to stretch his legs and check in to see if they need assistance loading the cargo.
After getting some solid shut eye, Silver joins Adeline and the Doc as they begin loading passengers. Checking over the registered passengers, Silver notes an interesting passenger, Loriel Samara, who just recently added to the shipping manifest.
"Adeline, when Ms. Samara arrives on board, please notify us. All of the passengers were booked and paid for yesterday. Something changed over night."
"This extra passenger puts us over one on berths."
With that, Silver heads off to check on the other crew members and to notify them of a unique development.

Despite any misgivings that the crew may have had, or anxiety about further sabotage or interference from the locals, the rest of the day passes without incident. The cargo bay is cleaned and then loaded with frieght.
The next day the passengers begin to arrive and a now well rested Adeline meets them at the terminal and guides them to their respective staterooms and berths. Dressed in a plain white blouse and black skirt, Adeline has ensured that she is far more presentable on this day and she greets passengers with a warm smile and pleasant greeting paying extra attention to the high passage members of which there are two.
One of those that paid for high passage is a short but stout man wearing clothes that obviously distinguishes him as a noble of some sort who insist on meeting with the captain before lift off, he tells Adeline this in a matter of fact way and informs her that he has very sophisticated tastes and needs and he expect that the captain will ensure that these expectations are met.
Silver is on the bridge prepping for takeoff when Adeline approaches, “We’ve got a live one” she says with a wry smile “nobleman by the name of Jaques Trellnor. Keeps going on about how he’s some distant relation of Duke Norris and he insists on meeting with you before we lift off.”
The other high passage passenger is “Lord” Trellnors son, Razzim. A young man perhaps in his late teens, Razzim is tall, skinny and has an air of forlorn about him. He wears mostly black clothing including a black leather type trenchcoat and his obviously dyed black hair has been carefully disheveled in a manner that suggests that he cares little for his appearance, but making it obvious that this is not really the case. Razzim says nothing as his father prattles on about his lineage, he simply rolls his eyes and sighs at how unfair is life is in his mind.
Njall’s inspection of the ship and the damage done during the operation reveals that aside from losing the chaff/flare attachment there was no significant damage done. The dings and dents from bullets and mortars that riddle the hull are difficult to differentiate from those that were already present prior to the operation. The damage is mostly cosmetic, but since the Wildcard was not too pretty to look when you first took possession of her, the damage is truly minimal.
Setting the repair bots to work on the sensors Njall collects the data that they send to his terminal. The prognosis is somewhat grim in that it is obvious to Njall that the sensors will never be fully repaired. The wiring has been redone and rigged so many times that it is a real mess for the repair bots to sort out. Unless the entire system is replaced and overhauled she will never be repaired to 100%
The news broadcasts that Njall has piped down into engineering consist mostly of coverage of the invasion, though this coverage is obviously skewed in favor of the GTC, often describing the Qualon Empire’s actions in a negative light, referring to their attempts at stalling the GTC forces as a series of terrorist style attacks and “cowardly” hit and run tactics. Overall it would appear, at least based on what the news is telling you, that the GTC is in full control of the situation and is driving their enemy back steadily.
Most of the news feed fades into the background as Njall works but Njall catches a man saying something about “chemical compound” causing him to pause at what he’s doing to strain and hear the next part of the report.
Without access to the facility that produces this compound we are told that the Qualon’s ability to manufacture the necessary serum to combat Frakers Disease will be greatly diminished. Some have accused the GTC of introducing Fraker’s Disease in some form of biological warfare; a claim that the GTC adamantly denies and points out that some member nations of the GTC have also been stricken with the deadly disease. In any event the capture of this facility may force the Qualon Empire to sue for peace, and GTC officials state that this was their intent when targeting the facility in first place.
Loriel arrives at the terminal where the Wildcard sits and is greeted by the sight of an old worn down Type A Free Trader. She is riddled with dents, dings, and blast marks that have chipped away at a paint job that appears to have been completed more than a decade ago. On the fuselage of the craft Loriel sees the image of a playing card and on the face of the card is the head of a jester wearing a jesters hat complete with bells. The jester sports a maniacal grin on his face. Underneath that image is the word “Wildcard”
Standing outside of the Wildcard Loriel spies a middle aged woman wearing a white blouse and black skirt who appears to be greeting and ushering passengers on board.
Catching the report of Frakers Disease, Silver comms med bay for the Doc. "Any intel on this disease, Doc? May need to scan passengers bios to ensure we are not caring anything unwanted off world."
Attending to the noble, "Sir, is it necessary for you to get off Ruie? If it is, then you will be pleased with the luxuries we are able to provide, otherwise we will refund your credits and you can wait for another ship to take you to your destination."
With a last run through of the Engineering systems and fuel quality check Njall heads to the bridge. As he settles in to the pilot seat he speaks to the room in general:
"Sensors are held together with hope and solder. They fail, don't touch them. Can't rely on them, can't go on patching them. First chance we get, new system. New to us will do. Fitted in a proper Yard though."
As he starts the pre-flight routines he speaks to himself, but aloud;
"Filthy disease ridden dirtball. Can't wait to leave orbit."

Shuth will check out all he can find on Frakers disease and set up a way to screen for it to make sure that we do not get anyone wanting to head off world that has this disease. He will make sure the auto doctor is set to scan for this disease too.
Out of Character: life science +1 and intelligence +1 for modifiers plus the +4 for medic.
In Character: : Maiokus hangs out on the bridge, waiting for everything to get sorted. He sips some more hot coffee that he brewed in the mess.
He listens to the news feed. Grimacing at the news of the GTC and their impending victory over the Qualon, and how the crew helped. He wouldn't be surprised if the GTC did in fact create Fraker's Disease as a biological weapon. He day dreams ways he could somehow make the GTC pay before they go. But he reminds himself that his pirate days are over and that he needs to focus on the Wildcard and the crew.
Out of Character: : Njall I think we can use the sensors without injury, but will take a penalty.
