Hearing the Doc's report, Silver responds, "Great news, Doc. How goes the sample acquisition?"
Looking to Loriel, "We can discuss details on board." He then gives directions to Adeline's stateroom and directions to the bridge. "Maiokus and Njall will be happy to discuss capabilities and other operational details."
While he stands and waits for Loriel to head on into the ship, he thumbs his mic again. "Doc, if your off world credentials don't get you what you need, remind them of the body count in lives saved of GTC soldiers."
Feeling amused at her sudden acquisition of a job, Loriel followed his directions to the stateroom to drop back her singular bag, then headed to the bridge. Standing at the doorway to the bridge room she poked her head in looking around. "Hello? I'm looking' for a Maiokus and/or Njall. I was told by Mr. Fancy captain to talk to you fellows."
"The Hell?" Damn tourists, what's this, that nobles mistress swanning in on a pre-flight bridge. Silvertongue ought to know better than this.
As he looks round Njall's snarl turns to a smile. Been here before. Customers need butter, not sauce:
"Ah, I think the Captain meant after we take off Ma'am. We're a little too busy preparing for a safe flight into orbit to give tours to passengers. Why don't you get a drink from Ms. Adeline, come back later? I'm Njall. I'll be happy to show you around the bridge once we're out of the gravity well."
Actually, looking at her, she doesn't seem like some arrogant High Passenger. Njall is glad he stayed professional rather than snapping 'get out'.

Loriel chuckled at his lightly at his reply to her. "Thanks for the offer Njall, but that is not what I'm here for but I might take you up on your offer later. Apparently you folk are in need of a sensor and comms operator. And I seem to be the lucky one who knows anything about them from your passengers."
"You're our new Bleep?"
Njalls smile becomes genuine and he gets up to show the newcomer her station:
"Why didn't you say so. Glad to meet you. Silvertongue, eh? Fastest hire .... .Come in. This is the console. I'm afraid the system's on it's last legs. See what you can make of it. Word of caution, when it fails, don't try to fix it. Wait for the robot."
Returning to his seat Njall continues his checks.
"Spent much time on these old Type A's.... Sorry, didn't catch your name?"

Taking a seat at the sensor station, Loriel looked over the machine, raising an eyebrow in concern over the loose wiring underneath the console. "The name's Loriel, Loriel Samara. And I've spent a bit around all types of ships but nothing in such rough condition before. Man that thing really is on its last leg."
"Pleased to meet you Loriel. Last legs, but all it's teeth. And it bites." Njall chuckles grimly: "The wiring on the sensor array's the worst bit of the Wildcard, don't judge her on that alone. She's scruffy. She's wearing someone else's glasses, and they're cracked. So? She's still a sound, reliable ship. Anyway, hopefully we're replacing the sensors soon. Find a reconditioned system."
In Character: : Maiokus looks over and nods at Loriel. "Outside of sensors what else can you do?"
He turns to Njall, "Our course is plotted so once we undock and reach safe distance we can gear up the J-drive and disappear."
