"Comm sats are such ancient tech, shouldn't be a problem macguyering one up. Problem is, in most civilised systems, decent orbits cost big valuta. Better idea is, rent time on a sat that's already there. Be cheaper in the long run. Ruie's barely below spacefaring, but you can bet they brought in tech to handle comm." He scratches his head. "Somewhat industrialised as well, considering they're bootstrapping themselves back to civilisation. Probably a good idea to pick up some local tech here to dump there. Machine tools, industrial precursors, that kind of thing. If it's in advance of local art, we should make a haul out of it."

As a doctor you do know that the compounds alternative equivalents are often used in the creation of solutions for serums, vaccines, and the like.
You spend the rest of the day basically trying to close the comm circuit on the Wildcard, you eventually manage to do this but you suffer several set backs during the day. Communications go down several times and it takes you a while to figure out why this is, you comb through wires and connections, reroute comm programs only to have it work briefly and then quit on you. By 2300hrs you are exhausted but you think you have the comms closed up and they seem to be working as far as you can tell.
Enerii
You find several exposed panels but you have finished patching them up by 1900hrs. Like the rest of the interior and exterior of the ship, these areas are obviously patched; the panels you put in place are a slightly different shade of color from the surrounding area, they are perhaps dented or have obvious weld marks, but they are functional.

Rebel over... As per the GM's post the shopping Njall did is done.
Those of you with binoculars, goggles, etc can add them to your equipment list ( and reduce the credits ). Everyone has a breather mask ( It is enlightened self-interest. Njall wants healthy crew-mates ).
"It seems to me that with Dr. Shuth aboard the Wildcard's 20 Low Berths are the safest in the Sector. What other ship has a Sawbones of his caliber? We should advertise.
For now I will get on the computer and see if we can fill those spaces before we leave."
Njall looks up the berths wanted/offered boards for a Regina-Rouie jump.
Sitting with a beer in the common room Njall remembers the Repair Robot system. Better get that up and running, give it a chance to familiarise itself with the ship. Njall heads off to Engineering to set the system up.

Enerii checks the database on the Ruie starport, tech level, law level, etc. He checks for information on local industrial capabilities, then does a database search on the station's machine to see what kind of stuff is laying around at a decent price that he can pack off to Ruie and maybe make a buck or two.
