The Repair Robot is a better mechanic than any of us, I'll put it on the job. We ought to give Enerii some sort of funeral - he was a crew member. Question is, here on the fatal dirtball, in space, or put him on ice until we're back in the Imperium?
No Homeworld listed on his character sheet. Looks like he got Zero-G, Computer and Vacc Suit for Homeworld skills, so an asteroid belt. Shionth? That's nearish.
We do need to get some Engineer chips for the Repair Robot, to cover the fields we don't have skills in. Or, better, another 'droid specialised as an Engineer.
I say just give him a funeral like they did Spock in Star Trek. It fits the maritime space theme.
If we pick up an NPC how are we gonna play it? Collectively?
Silver: I don't think there is a fleet orbiting Ruie, that was a patrol that we encountered in system.
Gaden: I imagine we would just ask it to do something and then the ref would play it out.
That NPC needs Sensors, Steward and Engineer (Electronics), with maybe some other Engineer specialisms. Krakrefr has Mechanics 1, plus there's the Robot (Which also has Engineer (Life Support),Shuth has Computer 2.
Looking at our route, there aren't any high TL worlds, or proper Starports, out to Whanga. Ruie is our best bet for a month or so, until we reach Alell/Uakye. We might pick up stranded spacer, say someone who's ship was impounded and has been released, or is awaiting deportation.
As Njall: We can't just Space Enerii, he'll be a navigational hazard. The options are to put him the gravity well of a planet/Gas Giant so he burns up quickly, or add him to an asteroid belt. Man Meteor is poetic, if you like that sort of thing. Frozen in Space has it's romance too, plus we can always go back for him later. (There are no planetoid belts at Ruie, so we put him in Low until Forboldn - after next Jump).
