Aericsteele, it is a good thing you spoke up, about Adaline. Originally had her set up as another diplomat. Now she sounds like a stewardess who got off the last flight, or the flight that came before us.
If we are processing our own fuel, then we drop the electronics and just keep the Major Pharma package?
Aericsteele, so you disclosing her past 15 years over the course of our flight or you allowing me to narrate her past into the remaining days before the compound facility fiasco?
Also if we spare a day for rest, fuel refining, cargo loading, and passenger boarding and stowing, will you tell us straight up if we are going to be fighting any whack jobs?
Last but not least, these cargo and passengers, all heading for Whango or whatever the location the Crazy Doc is at?
You can narrate Adelines past in regards to her time with Silver and what led to the break in the relationship, but I will take care of what she has been up to for the past fifteen years. You will need to disclose these things in the support thread though rather than writing an in character post from her perspective. I'm curious as to what caused the break and how much of a divide it caused at the time, but ultimately it is still backstory/background information.
Backstory:
Silver had worked for a few ranking officials most of them diplomats of one sort or another. Silver's second term in the diplomatic service had ended rather abruptly with the death of the diplomat, Savorn Klister. At the time of death, Silver was out of the system and in another part of the sector. It was an ugly thing to return to, all the speculation, accusations, and interrogations.
But being who he was and doing what he did, Silver was not without work for long. He finished the last 18 month of his second term with Abram Molit. Molit was an interesting person to work for, he never said anything to Silver, not once. In the twelve years he worked for Molit, Silver saw him maybe six times.
In the interim six months that Silver was "Not in use", he went home to visit family and friends. The visit only lasted a couple of days and then Silver returned to the Diplomatic Service Headquarters on his homeworld. While thumbing through job options and career choices at an info board one day, he bumped into one Adaline Dupre on assignment.
Steward or Stewardess training is a unique thing in the Diplomatic Corp. They spend entire days and weeks going around and silently listening in other peoples conversations. Presenting drinks or food, they invite themselves into others conversations without a word and memorize words and details to be transcribed later. Picture perfect memories in cased in attractive and near flawless bodies.
Silver was by himself and no one else was around when Adaline came around for "Practice". Seeing that he was by himself, she brought him a cold soda, which she offered by sticking in his face. Unperturbed, Silver took the can and set on a table nearby and returned to his search. Adaline retrieved the can, opened it, and put it into Silver's hand which was now empty. The shock of persistence had stopped Silver from his search for work. The opening of the soda can baffled him even more. So there he stood with an open soda, this pushy stewardess, and no work.
Looking at the can, Silver drank its contents, wiped his mouth and handed Adaline the can back. With a quiet, "Thank you." Silver returned to his research. He said nothing else and ten minutes later Adaline returned to her class to debrief. The details relayed to the transcriptionist were amazingly accurate and very detailed even though there was little in the way of conversation.
It was through this debrief and transcription that Silver would get his next.assignment. Molit had received the document based on his inquiry at the Diplomatic Corp for someone matching Silver's description. Unaware of the documentation, Silver began service with Molit and by years end, Adaline Dupre was in his employ as well.
In order to eliminate the dice modifier penalty for fatigue the characters will need 8hrs of uninterrupted sleep. Some of the characters have managed to get some rest, but from what I can tell no one has managed to get the full eight hours (Maybe Maiokus, but in his post on page 57 he talked about taking a nap rather than a full on sleep) . Those that have slept at least a few hours will continue to suffer a -1DM and then make a series of Endurance rolls each hour (Include the -1DM in these rolls) if they fail they will return to a -2DM. You may have to make several END rolls as part of your post if you think your character is going to be up for several more hours.
Krakrefr, sleeping in the chair on the bridge is not going to do much for you though so you will continue to suffer the -2DM until you get proper rest. As far as I can tell Gaden, Krakrefr, and Silver continue to suffer -2DM due to fatigue. Njall, and Shuth did get some rest so they will be at -1DM (Although from Shuths last post I gather that he has retired for a little while and is currently resting). Adeline has retired to her stateroom and unless she is interrupted she will work on the full eight hours of sleep and will not be available to start loading passengers until around 1800hrs or so.
Either way I will need to know what time everyone does go to sleep and what time they wake up. The last post in which everyone was still awake would have been 0930hrs on 019-1115. Adeline would have retired to her quarters around 0945 and it is assumed based on Shuth's post that this would have been around the time that Shuth retired as well.
