I just wanted to clarify Gaden's social standing score. It started low (Something like 6 if I remember correctly) but he also gets a bonus from his commission. On the table it says:

That give him a total of 12 (With the +2 from mustering out).

Actually looking back, I have a question about the commission system. If in his first term, Gaden survived this commission check (Which replaces advancement) and passes the subsequent check for the other five terms, does that place him at rank 5 or 6 on the officers table? Maiokus and I meta'd about it a bit and came to the conclusion that it would place him at six as it's done as an advancement roll moving the character up one rank from 0 to 1 the first time and so on and so on. It really doesn't affect anything in the game, no bonuses or such. It would simply change his title before he retired from colonel to brigadier. I just was wondering what you thought Aericsteele?

Just a heads up, DemonicAngel (Loriel) has been given a final warning regarding participation. If I don't hear anything soon I'm putting a red shirt on her character. Rather than opening it up an bringing another player in I will probably just give Njall Sensors-0 and Comm-0 so that there is at least one crew member that can operate the sensors/comms. I would be granting this to Njall based on his in character posts in which he is attempting to study/learn these systems.

Unless Njall wants to take Sensors and someone else, like Gaden or Krakrefr wanted to take Comms so they have something to do on board other than security.

I am grateful for those we do have that have remained active. Nothing worries me more than starting a game in a new system and having players flake or bail out.

Can we give Njall an on ship promotion (Shockwave First Class or Master Sound Blaster) and include with it, the necessary training for Comm-0 and Sensor-0?

I'll accept sensors, if it comes to it, though I was thinking of going for Engineer (Electrical).

I think someone else ought to take comms. Njall is primarily the pilot and if he is also running comms and sensors might be trying to man the bridge single-handed in some circumstances. Perhaps Gaden would have enough experience of comms to upgrade with a little study?

It's our groups games night tomorrow. I'll see if Lee still wants to join. I can nag him face to face, once a week .

Maiokus had started training comms during our first jump so I could continue with that. Since Maiokus is technically apart of the bridge staff it makes sense to just finish that up?
