Alchyrogue, most Out of Character: chatter goes on in this thread. But if it's a small aside that you want to be read immediately I think an Out of Character: comment in the main thread is ok.
Allel is a standard Imperial world, so the usual law-enforcement/system defence authorities should be present. Our best option is probably counter-boarding.
Perhaps let them hail first. Gives us more time to prepare. Perhaps non-flight crew should start getting ready, bring the weapons and armour for the bridge team so we can kit up quickly.
If we open comms, maybe ask if they have a malfunction and offer help?
I agree to let them hail first. And I'm all for counter-boarding. Ajit is pretty handy with his laser rifle, though that may be a bit overkill. I also picture, since he just arrived, that Ajit has his rucksack full of all his gear next to him on the bridge. Ajit would just follow the lead of the others, since he doesn't know the group dynamics or teamwork.
I am not well-versed in spaceships, but is Ajit considered essential or nonessential personnel? I wouldn't think monitoring the sensors would be huge, but I don't know if he is needed to run something else that is sensors adjacent (Like establishing communication with the other ship).
