@Maiokus, I know, but AericSteele had talked about making multiple actions in one post to save on real-world time and not waste a day looking for the guy and getting a response and then another day shooting the guy. I know more game time will pass, but that is acceptable as long as nothing major happens that we need to react to.
So should we give chase to the fleeing soldiers? I feel like either we'll see them again in larger numbers or we take care of them now.
I tend to agree, but as they outnumber us pretty severely and Traveler tends to be a deadly game, I am thinking we should realistically just 'lick our wounds' and be glad we now know they are here too. I imagine we will change our tactics now to better defend ourselves, but otherwise, I don't think there is much we can do. I am by no means a veteran of Traveler though, so if someone who has played more has more opinions, I am definitely open to hear them.
We could hold up at the village. They have hardly anything as far as supplies. More for security than for anything else and then we could secure the Doc in the village while he tends to their sick and looks after any potentially wounded from this Skirmish.
Maybe we can locate the ship and just call the Wildcard to pick us up from there. I don't want to attract attention to the village because I am concerned about collateral damage.
