Woman Burnt Because Husband Did Not Like Food
Wow, this is just terrible. He was obviously drunk, I am glad the kids were not present when this happened. In addition to this terrible story, read what one of the neighbors said (in bold):
QUOTE ANGRY over her cooking patchoi bhaji and roti for breakfast yesterday, a Fyzabad man doused a woman with gasoline over a lit stove. Arlene Dollarway, 25, was burnt from face to feet and was last night in critical condition at hospital.
The incident happened at the family's home in New City, John Jules Trace, about 2.30 am. A police report stated that Dollarway and a male relative had minutes before returned home after attending a drinking spree at a night club. The woman was in the kitchen mixing a pot of pachoi on the stove, when the relative began to quarrel with her over her choice of meal. According to the report, the woman continued the cooking, but the relative left the house.
The report stated that he returned with a plastic container with gasoline and upon confronting Dollarway, threw the liquid over her head. Police investigators said the stove was lit and immediately she was engulfed in flames.
When Newsday visited yesterday, neighbours said that they heard screams and on looking out their windows, saw what appeared to be a ball of fire on the road. "First I thought the man was just beating the woman. Because sometimes we hear them quarrelling. But I really did not know it was so serious. I really did not know," one neighbour said.

Food Not Husband Burnt Woman
I have always thought some of the things people do when they are drunk are interesting. Dousing your wife with gasoline is a little extreme and the neighbors thinking it is ok to beat each other is also interesting. I hope she is ok and that she is able to recover. I hope the guy gets a few years for attempted murder.

Food Not Husband Burnt Woman
Drunk PEOPLE act out what ever comes into their little fuzzy minds at the time. This has lead to some interesting things. Like the girl who thought her dress was too tight so she took it off and hung it out her window, car window that is. OR the guy who thought he was flag so he climbed a flag ploe.
I think this guy thought he wanted a hot wife so he started her on fire. I do not know. I will take your word for it that men have little respect for women down there.
