I will wait on players for only so long before I move the game on. I try to make a post within three days tops but I know at times I may go past that a bit if I am busy. IF that happens I do try to get a post in to keep the game going as soon as possible.

Comments: In a Play By Post environment this can be the top annoyance of the game. I feel if you can't play when you should then you should say it up front so the game master can control your character until you can rather than holding everyone up.
I was just in a Play By Post game where over a week went by without a post. Finally, a player posted wondering what we were waiting for, another then posted they were leaving the group, and the Dungeon Master then posted that the game seemed like it was dead, so he was folding it. We were waiting for the Dungeon Master to post!
When you don't play when you're supposed to you also lessen your importance to the group who are active. Just think… you see someone make a once in a blue moon post- it doesn't have much weight behind it and will likely be ignored so its better for you to participate often if you want to remain relevant to the game.

Comments: Annoying to say the least specially players who sit there arguing with the Dungeon Master instead of just accepting his judgement and moving on with the game.
