I am sure this was an honest mistake but EVERYONE is going to hear about it and they will become the "joke." Unfortunately, whats not a joke, is the lack of education some schools provide.

WESTLAKE, Ohio (AP) -- A Cleveland-area principal says he's embarrassed his students got proof of their "educaiton" on their high school diplomas. Westlake High School officials misspelled "education" on the diplomas distributed last weekend. It's been the subject of mockery on local radio. Principal Timothy Freeman says he sent back the diplomas once to correct another error. When the diplomas came back, no one bothered to check things they thought were right the first time. The publisher has reprinted the diplomas a second time and sent them to the 330 graduates. |
Very sad to think such a mistake would be missed. I admit I read all four of my diplomas as soon as I got them to ensure they were right. I think disbelief was part of it.
Yes two high school and two college but still can not spell while typing. Grade 12 and 13 in high school and a technician and technologist diploma in Electro mechanical engineering. Funny part was the technician diploma is what landed me my job but the technologist paper put me into a better job once in the door.
