Daniel Holtzclaw - Ex Cop
A jury has found former Oklahoma City police officer Daniel Holtzclaw guilty on charges including sexual battery, forcible oral sodomy and rape.
The case touched on the explosive intersection of race, policing and justice in America. All 13 of Holtzclaw's victims were black. His father is white and mother Japanese.
Holtzclaw faced a total of 36 counts. He was found guilty on 18.
He cried openly in the courtroom and rocked in his chair as the verdict was read. Jurors had deliberated for more than 40 hours over four days. Sentencing is set for next month. Ref. CNN.
