NBA referee says he's gay after slur

NBA referee Bill Kennedy announced he is gay to "Send a message to young men and women in sports that you must allow no one to make you feel ashamed of who you are." He did so after Sacramento Kings guard Rajon Rondo's suspension for uttering anti-gay slurs. Ref. Source 9z
