I personally an glad to see the red wings win since all Canadian teams are out. I really enjoyed the series. I did think Detroit was playing better through the series in setting up the plays in the offense, especially in the last two games.

Best part is there were tow firsts in the Wings winning this year. First time for an east coaster to take a cup home and the first time for a European player to win as captain. A great way to end a season indeed.
