Woman Arrested for Murder After Abandoning Her Newborn, Stray Dogs Ate The Baby
In Honduras, a 23-year-old woman has been charged with infanticide and abandoning a child after her newborn was left alone in a courtyard and eaten by stray dogs. The woman, Elda Esperanza Espino Garcia, lived alone and allegedly gave birth to the child behind a tree then left it alone while she returned to the house to get a blanket. Ref. Source 4

What a terrible end to both the child and mother's. I feel that the one impregnating her should also be held responsible, not for this specific act but her being alone to care for the baby, maybe it was just too much for her.
