Yellow-bellied Sea Snake

Venomous sea snake washes up on beach

Members of the Surfrider Foundation made a startling discovery when they found a dead yellow-bellied sea snake just 30 miles south of Los Angeles. Since the snake may have washed up due to warmer waters related to El Niño, there are likely more snakes in the region. Ref. Source 7o
