I haven't played the game for a very long time. I recently joined a a game and everyone was nice but I wanted to play more once, every couple of months with last minute cancellations. Everyone has a life, I understand. So I decided to get some books and roll up some [player characters] to better understand how to do the Dungeon Masters job and see if I can't convince some friends to bring some beers and have some fun. There sure is a lot of information.

Did you join in hopes to be a Dungeon Master or to be a player?
