I know when I was over there it could get very hot at times in the summer and in the winter it could get very cold. It reminded me of Iowa at times. I guess that is why I never worried about the weather there. I do know the mountains there do play a big role in the weather that travels across the nation.

I experienced one hurricane when I was over there. Most of the time they are not bad though as most go over Japan before hitting them. Thus the hurricanes are less severe.
