Genealogy: Taller or Shorter?

Now that you have done some research into your ancestry (Assuming you have), how do you feel: Taller or Shorter?

In other words, do you feel good about yourself and 'where you came from' or the opposite?

I feel indifferent. There were some notable ancestors and then there are some that weren't. I guess if this were a Japanese genealogy chart it might seem dishonorable.

For my father's side, I'm actually only an inch or two taller, for my mother's, closer to six to eight inches taller.

I don't think the original poster is asking for your physical height but how you feel about your background, your forefathers. Personally I'm OK with it. I didn't come from kings but my ancestors tried to make life as good for me as I now have it and its up to me to make it better if I want it bad enough.
