Staging includes decluttering, updating, furniture arranging, maintenance. Staging a home starts with curb appeal, after all buyers see the outside first. Pay special attention to the entry. Choosing the right colors and de-personalizing your home is important. Stick to neutral tones and bring in some color with a few strategically placed accent pieces. Take down the family pictures, arrange furniture to make the space seem roomier or to highlight special features of the home. And make sure your home is CLEAN! Thanks for the explanation. Staging a home is like prettying it up but not necessarily fixing anything right? I worked for a guy who was selling his house and he wanted us to paint areas that had water marks because he didn't want to spend more money fixing leaks.
