The issue is JB, while I receive email notification of new replies to the threads I am subscribed to, the links always take me to the newest post. If I have not posted in a few days for a thread with fairly high activity it leaves me forced to go back page per page in finding the reply right after mine.
On other sites the link of the first new reply takes you to that reply, no matter how many others there are.
Another consideration is of having a member's recent posts or threads shown on their profile, is that if not the above I could always go to my profile and get to the right place from there. This also could work, and could be of a benefit in other ways as well.
My consideration is ease of use and getting to the right place more quickly without wasting time.

Thomaslee, you will be happy to see this latest Update to User Profiles which fulfills your request and brings this feature back on stream.
Hello, I am new here and I am not familiar with all old posts and rules yet, but to me it may be very interesting to have a section for 30 min debates. With a window and a chat where people can discuss in real time and debate about a topic keeping the respect and constructive writing. That could be a nice change to the blog post dynamic.
Again it is only an idea and I am not sure if that can be implemented or if it may be appropriate in this community.
I just had an idea. Is there a way to add a filter to Updated Threads by excluding specific posters?
I'd like to filter out the bot-updated threads in order to find people discussing a topic so I can contribute to the discussion better.
This would be really helpful, as looking back on the past month, there has been a handful of players contributing to discussions.
