Federal judge issues stay in controversial Texas execution
The execution of Scott Panetti, which was scheduled for this evening, was halted by a U.S. District Court, citing complex legal questions. Panetti's case sparked a global debate over whether people with mental illness should be put to death for their crimes. In my opinion regardless to your mental state if you such a danger to society that you will likely commit the crime again then you need to be removed permanently from the living.
