I like cotton over all man made materials it is cooler and more comfortable though hard to find in quality at a good price.

Also many moms have been green for years by making the nice warm patchwork quilts. They way a ton and are hard to wash when Jack frost will never get at your toes.

Flannel was never my friend. I get way too hot in flannel and that is not a good thing. I prefer my cottons and denims since they are more rugged for my taste. Yes, I believe cotton to be a good source for renewable clothing.
