Free Child Car Seats

S.D. County giving away child car seats

With $240,505 in state funding, San Diego County’s Health and Human Services Agency will give away 1,925 child car seats to low-income families. Now in its sixth year, the program aims to prevent traffic-accident fatalities among children. Ref. Source 5a.

San Diego may have a shortage of water but they sure aren't short on cash to be wasting. Why can't people but this kind of thing for themselves? If they can afford a car to put it in then they can also afford a car seat!.
