Calculator Millionaire Becoming

So when do I become a millionaire. Based on my calculations of the current $500 I got in the bank and the $50 I put in once in awhile from allowance I got...

With your Yield of 6.00 % with monthly deposits of $ 50.00
With an Initial Amount of $ 500.00
And a Final Amount of $ 1,000,000.00
You will reach your goal in 77 years,
But due to 3.000% inflation
your $ 1,000,000.00 will only be worth
$ 102,691.31 in today's dollars
Even after 100 years, you will only have $ 4,163,144.35, worth
$ 216,620.22 in today's dollars

Only problem is most banks and financial institution only offer yields of 1-2% annual. SO you will have to put even more in. Plus 77 years from now I will be bones pushing up daisies.

Even if I put my entire paycheck away, at 6% interest it would still take us 25 years to make $million. Of course this is not taking into account the money we have in our retirement funds. I think if I am not going to win a lottery I need to be looking at more lucrative ways to invest my money rather than just putting it in the bank.
