So the victim was a wealthy woman, with a daughter who was a college drop out, a thief who stole her credit card and hanging out with the wrong crowd. Why did the victim took the daughter to this trip? I mean, she tracked the daughter down and couldn't even recognize her when she saw her which means the daughter is probably heavily involved in drugs. This is really sad.

An Indonesian court has sentenced American teenager Heather Mack to 10 years in prison for the murder of her mother, whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase in Bali.

Earlier on Tuesday, the court found her boyfriend, 21-year-old Tommy Schaefer guilty of the same offense, and sentenced him to 18 years in prison.

The couple murdered Mack's mother Sheila von Wiese-Mack in August 2014, and stuffed her body in a suitcase which they abandoned in the back of a taxi. Ref. CNN
