Wow, one of the great tragedies of our time. 1.3 million people living in refugee camps. How incredibly sad.
Rather off topic, but...
I remember training the Mujahiddin back when today's bad guys were the good guys fighting against the USSR's invasion of Afghanistan. The refugee camps in Pakistan were horrible, terrible places. Yet those people kept their spirits up and all they wanted to do was fight the USSR. How could we have messed that whole thing up so badly. Had we just invested a little bit of money there after the Soviets withdrew this would be a different world.
