Took the boys to see Kung Fu Panda 3. There was enough action and engagement in Kung Fu Panda 3 to keep them occupied. I enjoyed the movie and its many comparisons and double meanings. I will particularly like to note the ending...

Which seems to be a page out of the Matrix Revolutions movie: both were on different levels, both were very powerful, one wanted it all and then it became too much, etc.

I did see some of the familiar scenes from the Matrix. Its the same genre so its kind of expected with the Matrix leading most fighting movies now with what is the bare minimum to be considered worthwhile. I loved the comedy, much of it was original - the father meets son scene was hilarious.
