I really hope the police can find Mrs. Sookdeo. I can only start imaging what her family is going through right now, particularly her children. Any thoughts as to what might have happened to her?

There are several things about this case that are disturbing:
1. The manner in which she was kidnapped. She was being stalked and the dark tinted windows that is illegally being used in this country needs to be stopped.
2. She was very active on FaceBook with many pictures of herself and the family. This is why I always say it is very important to keep a low profile. No one needs to know what you look like because you just can't know who is looking at your profile.
3. There has been no ransom requested. Unless the family had a lot of wealth why would you target a hairdresser? Therefore, what is the reason for the kidnapping? Is this part of the human trafficking ring going on in the country or is there something more than meets the 'eye'?
1. According to news sources, a man in police gear is the one who kidnapped her (Along with other men).
2. Although true, I don't think it is the reason because of point #3.
3. They are not wealthy. The police is investigating a family link.
1. In the US, I do not recall the regular police driving around with tinted glass unless they were Secret Service, FBI or escorting the Governor, high offical, etc. Anyone in this country can put on uniform resembling the Police and act out the part.
2. & 3. Good, because kidnapping is not only for money although most people associate it with that at first. Now, I am not saying this is the case here as these are just examples; gambling and private debt, vengeance, gross envy, or pretense (Orchestrated kidnapping).
Here is the big twist according to TV6 News. A police officer borrowed a vehicle from his sister (Black X-Trail) and apparently used that to conduct the kidnapping. One other person is being sought but there was no update as to if Ms. Sookdeo was found.
According to the Trinidad Express, a Nissan X-Trail matching the description of the vehicle used in the abduction of Ms. Sookdeo has been discovered in Penal in the house where a man and a woman live.
The police spent the day searching the property for possible forensic evidence. Three people have been detained. Source 2y.
