Opposite Of Virgin

What word is the best to use as the opposite of "Virgin"?

Virgin Opposite

It would have to be something that is used. So defiled, used, sullied, sexually experienced, non-virgin, unpure.

Remember a tool or item that has not be used is considered virgin. Virgin wool is pure.

I would call them experienced. I think that would describe someone who is no longer a virgin.

Thinking in terms of the word and not necessarily sexual connotation, such as virgin wool, or virgin Mary I would have to go with impure or tainted. I like the experienced definition but nothing seems to fit perfectly in every context.

I used the word experienced because tainted, or impure can make a person sound bad. I would be more willing to use a more neutral term. Even though your right no word really can describe it.

Rather off topic, but...
a little off but virgin wool comes from ugly sheep laugh.gif

I totally agree there. I think experienced is the winner so far even though I keep racking my brain because it seems there is something that would be more all-inclusive without the negative connotations.

Rather off topic, but...
So is that why it is still virgin wool? wink.gif

If you a buy a product that is not virgin or pure then they usually label it non-virgin so I'll go with that.

The word virgin also implies certain qualities of the object so then can it be reversed to say that the things with opposites qualities are non virgin?

A young virgin is said to be pure of thought so does that mean on who is not pure of thought is the opposite of a virgin?

Rather off topic, but...

Virgin wool comes from farms where the farmer who own no rubber boots.
