An Oklahoma death-row inmate Clayton Lockett died of a heart attack Tuesday night after his execution was halted because the lethal injection of three drugs was botched. The execution of a second convicted murderer, Charles Warner, was postponed. Ref. USAToday

Oklahoma authorities stopped one execution and postponed another after botching the delivery of drugs.
The execution of convicted murderer Clayton Lockett was halted after his vein "Exploded" During the injection of drugs, Oklahoma Department of Corrections Director Robert Patton said.
Lockett later suffered what appeared to be a heart attack and died, Patton said.
The state high court last week ruled against Lockett and Charles Warner in their challenge to the state's so-called secrecy provision, which forbids disclosing the identities of anyone involved in the execution process or suppliers of any drugs or medical equipment. Ref. CNN
