Analysis: An 'avalanche of insults' was just one of several heated exchanges in a surprisingly combative vice presidential debate
Democrat Tim Kaine and Republican Mike Pence spent a lot of time discussing the Republican nominee Donald Trump during Tuesday night's vice presidential debate. Kaine spent his time denouncing Trump's general fitness for the Oval Office while Pence was busy trying to reassure Republicans who are anxious about their presidential nominee. At one point Pence decried what he called an "Avalanche of insults" from the Democratic campaign. Kaine replied, "I'm just saying facts about your running mate." Ref. USAToday.

A CNN pole claims that Mike Pence won which is surprising as CNN does tend to side with the Dems. While I haven't decided who won yet I want to hear the reviews tomorrow.

I think it is funny in a way that Kaine continually tried to deliver a prescripted catch phrases like Trump's Apprentice Show's "You're Fired". Clinton is far better at inserting those lines than Kaine is without a doubt. With both the nominees being approximately 70 years old, the VP has a statistically higher chance of having to finish a term than say Biden. Pence, to me, looked far more measured, calm and confident. His morality is more in line with mine, so I am biased.

The funny thing about Mike Pence is he is far more presidential than Trump is on his best day. Maybe that is why Trump chose him. Tim Kaine looks like a hobbit with a grudge who needs someone to pick on. I don't think this debate matters for most people as the one Sunday will.

Mike Pence's plane just skidded off the runway while landing New York… there are no injuries reported but are they going to say it was "Rigged"? .

Politics aside I prefer the demeanor of Mike Pence over Tim Kaine. Tim comes over as rough cut and somewhat aggressive. Who knows he may have been a great VP but did not pull my strings.
