We have many Threads here about the Farc mostly in military operations between Colombia, US and Venezuela. However since they seem to be a significant military force of their own I have made a Thread specifically about them.

The Farc has some kind of political backing. The Colombian army, if they really wanted to, is big enough to march in them mountains and take them out and burn their camps. That is if they really wanted to. Fact is if Frac is holding whomever they want hostage like any other typical terrorist group is because they know they can do it safely. Thats what I'm saying.

I believe FARC is there to stay. I doubt that any of Columbias military will be able to wipe them out completely. Plus I feel that others will continue to side with them and back them as the Columbian leader gets more and more extreme.

Two things, one is the woman is psychologically abused and like any prisoner held captive for a long time they begin to be sympathetic towards their captors. Next, thanks to some infiltrators that did a good job.
