If you are interested in starting more Topics with your name attached to it rather than seeing the News Bot do it then consider these points:

1. Topic starters usually give you more FP than Topic replies.

2. Since most news has a story to tell your Post will be longer if you quote a paragraph of the News bulletin. Posts that are a paragraph or more usually are awarded with bonus FP. Ensure you also leave your comment and put the quoted content in between Quote Tags.

3. Post News about your local area. You can be assured that we proabably will not have News about your vicinity, but we will be glad for it, in fact the more local the better!

4. Upload some photos of yourself, family, or if you are on the shy side try adding some of your favorite vacation or still life shots.

5. Give reviews about common everyday products in the Consumer Report section.

6. Remember the Mortgage and Real Estate Boards pay the highest FP you can get with up to 5FP just for a reply!

7. Chose a unique Avatar.

8. Participate in the RPGs and give feedback on them.

9. Visit other Member's Intro / Rave Threads and asking them how they are doing and what is new with them.
