A large number of men were held in Cunupia for cock fighting. I do not see how anyone can get a thrill out of watching two creatures mutilate each other. I know Trinis like their chicken, but this is taking it too far.

This should be outlawed. Using cocks to fight and peck on each other until one is dead is as barbaric as the people who see it as a sport for gambling. It really says something about the people participating in it.

Cock fighting is legal in some countries just like in my country, Philippines. Some people have this as large business having their own breeding and game fowl farm. Rich businessmen and politicians are deeply involved in cock fighting with bets and prizes ranging to millions. The boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao, previously had his own breeding farm but as of present, he has stayed clear from cock fighting. While most men has engaged in cock fight or in one way or another gambled during a fight, I have never tried it nor have I had the taste for it.
