Six women have been charged with riot and other offenses that led to a large fight and a shooting that killed a North Cornwall Township man in July last year outside a downtown Lebanon apartment building.

Charged were Brittany N. Ritter, 24, whose address is listed in court records as 930 Water St., Lebanon, or Reading; Jennifer Hernandez, 23, of 34 S. 11th St., Lebanon; Darnella Ritter, 45, of 930 Water St., Lebanon; Latisha Summers, 21, of Steelton; Julia Etzweiler, 22, of Lebanon; and Taja Green, 22, of 129 S. 11th St., Lebanon.

The charges are related to a fight that led to the July 31, 2009, shooting death of 20-year-old Steven Santiago.

Santiago was shot by then-16-year-old Sasha Hernandez outside the apartment building at 46 S. Eighth St., where she lived with her mother, Rosa Lopez.

Last November, Hernandez pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and was sentenced to 39 ½ to 79 years in state prison. Lopez pleaded guilty to charges of riot, conspiracy to commit riot, corruption of a minor and conspiracy to possess a firearm by a minor. She was sentenced to Lebanon County prison for 10 months to two years... Source 6t
